Our Story
Lionheart Doodles started as a dream to provide the gift of animal therapy to children living in the foster system. We soon recognized the potential help and healing these incredible companions could bring across the Pacific Northwest. Requests for service dogs began to trickle in from around the country and beyond.
We developed a space to breed our dogs with the honor and respect they deserve, while building a strong foundation of trust and appropriate developmental growth for each and every puppy.
Founder, Andrea Laurita, believes in a win/win. Through breeding amazing canine companions, service, facility and therapy dogs for homes, we are able to support the beautiful children woh are loved and chosen living here in our own home. We delight in bringing healthy dogs into the world with excellence, and seek to live simply so we might share our resources with communities in need near and far.
Our role in caring for your next family member is a great privilege, and we wholeheartedly and knowledgeably give your dog its best possible start. Simultaneously, we are grateful for the ability to embrace and nurture the children in our care.
Our Approach
We breed dogs that have passed OFA hip, elbow and eye health testing, genetics testing, and demonstrate intelligence, friendliness, and emotional awareness!
Lionheart Doodles is a member of the elite “Badass Breeder” group led by Jeanette Forrey, dedicated to elevating the standards of the breeding community.
We invest in giving our puppies the curriculum and exposure they need to maximize their potential.
Lionheart Doodles has produced many certified service dogs, as well as therapy, facility, and emotional support dogs.
We truly delight in these puppies, and enjoy seeing them adopted into homes where they are cherished members of the family!
Our Dogs
Doodles are invaluable adventure buddies, companions to the lonely, best friends to children.
The ideal placement for a Lionheart Doodle is a home where your pup’s people are available to offer affection, instruction, and space or routine for regular exercise!
Our aim is to set up our puppies, and their future families, for success.
